These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”, or “student”) and Blingwork Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Lawpatra”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Lawpatra website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, enrolling in any course, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Account Registration
Lawpatra is an educational platform open to learners of all ages. If you are a minor under the laws of your jurisdiction, you may use the Platform with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for supervising your use and for any payments made through your account.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information up to date. We use one-time passwords (OTPs) sent to your registered email or mobile number to sign you in — we do not maintain user-set passwords. You are responsible for keeping your registered email and mobile number secure, not sharing OTPs with anyone, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us at support@lawpatra.ai promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.
Each account is for a single individual. You may not share OTPs, transfer your account, or permit any other person to use your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are shared, resold, or otherwise misused.
2. The Platform and Services
Lawpatra is an examination-preparation platform for students pursuing Indian legal-entrance and law-related competitive exams. The Platform provides, among other features:
- Curated question banks, mock tests, sectional tests, and practice tests;
- Performance analytics, accuracy trends, and confidence-score estimations;
- Revision flashcards and concept summaries;
- An AI-powered tutor that responds to learner queries;
- Paid enrolments, subscriptions, and learning materials.
We continuously improve the Platform and may add, modify, or discontinue features at our discretion. Where a change materially reduces the value of a paid offering you have already purchased, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
3. Educational Content; No Guarantee of Results
All study materials, mock tests, analytics, and AI-generated content are provided for educational and self-assessment purposes only. While we strive for accuracy and quality, we make no representation or warranty that:
- Any content reflects the most current syllabus, examination pattern, or legal position;
- Use of the Platform will result in any particular score, rank, admission, or career outcome;
- AI-generated tutor responses, “estimated exam scores”, or analytics are free from error or suitable for any specific purpose.
Estimated exam scores and confidence scores are statistical projections based on your past performance. They are not predictions of actual examination results, and you should not rely on them as such.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, career, or admissions advice. For decisions with material consequences, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
4. AI Tutor
The AI tutor uses third-party large-language-model providers to generate responses to your questions. By using the AI tutor, you acknowledge that:
- Responses are generated automatically and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect;
- Your conversations are stored on the Platform to improve your learning experience and may be processed by our model providers, subject to the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy;
- You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that contains personal data of others without authorization;
- You are responsible for verifying any factual or legal claim before relying on it.
5. Payments, Enrolments, and Refunds
Some features and courses are paid. Pricing for each enrolment is displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, all prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as indicated.
Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers; those details are handled by PCI-DSS-compliant gateway providers.
Refund policy. Except where required by law or expressly stated for a specific product:
- Course enrolments are non-refundable once you have accessed substantive course content (videos, paid tests, or downloadable materials).
- You may request a refund within seven (7) days of purchase if you have not consumed substantive content, by emailing support@lawpatra.ai from your registered email address.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment instrument within 7–14 business days.
Subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your profile, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of your then-current billing period.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform, except as expressly permitted;
- Record, screenshot, scrape, or otherwise extract questions, explanations, or other material for redistribution, including to coaching institutes, social-media groups, or competing services;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of any part of the Platform;
- Use bots, scripts, headless browsers, or other automated means to access the Platform, except for legitimate search-engine indexing;
- Bypass or attempt to bypass any rate-limit, paywall, enrolment-gate, or security measure;
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another’s privacy;
- Impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation, or provide false information during registration;
- Use the Platform in violation of any applicable law, examination-board rule, or professional code of conduct.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of paid fees, and civil or criminal action where appropriate.

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Lawpatra a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, store, reproduce, and process that content to operate, improve, and secure the Platform, and to comply with legal obligations.
You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe any third-party right and complies with these Terms.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful conduct, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and Sections 3, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 13 shall survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Lawpatra, its directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss of data, examination outcomes, or admission opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Lawpatra in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lawpatra and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (iii) content you submit through the Platform.
